The China–Central Asia Summit comes to Shaanxi

The China–Central Asia Summit was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi, on May 18 and 19, with President Xi Jinping presiding. As China's first major home-ground diplomatic event of the year, the summit was a milestone in relations between China and the Central Asian countries and drew wide attention at home and abroad.

"The ancient capital of Xi'an is welcoming its distinguished guests with a new look," said Ye Niuping, vice governor of Shaanxi Province.
