On January 5, 2023, the 2023 China Ice and Snow Tourism Development Forum, co-hosted by the China Tourism Academy and the Harbin Municipal People's Government and organized by the Harbin Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism and China Broadnet, was held successfully in Harbin.
Themed "Carrying Forward the Olympic Spirit for Sustainable Ice and Snow Tourism", the forum brought together representatives of ice and snow tourism cities, culture and tourism companies, experts and scholars to discuss the development of China's ice and snow tourism after the Winter Olympics and the pandemic. Harbin gave a keynote as a representative ice and snow tourism city, a hub of innovative projects and of the "ice and snow Chinese style" trend.
The forum was held both in person and online, with full live coverage in 5G + 4K converged media.
