Welcoming the 20th Party Congress, together toward the future
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was to open in Beijing on October 16, 2022 — a very important congress held at a critical moment as the Party and people of all ethnic groups embark on building a modern socialist country in all respects and advance toward the second centenary goal. The congress would elect a new Central Committee and Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
To create a good atmosphere for welcoming the congress and studying its spirit, media centers and organizations across China held interviews, performances and award ceremonies. Ordos held a performance marking the 20th anniversary of the Ordos University for the Elderly, themed "Welcoming the 20th Congress, Setting Sail Again", to showcase the university's achievements and the spirit of the city's senior citizens, and meet their cultural needs.
Full moon and family at Mid-Autumn
As the Mid-Autumn Festival arrived and the summer heat faded, TV stations and media centers across China held Mid-Autumn live events. Song-and-dance galas brought together traditional Chinese style in fresh new forms — the moon of past and present, the poetry of Chang'an, culture flowing through time. These events used the Juxian media cloud service platform's cloud director, product recommendations, voting, ad slots and red-packet giveaways to interact with viewers online, enriching the viewing experience and interaction.
Shaanxi Broadcast Media Group's Mid-Autumn special, "A Gift of Chang'an: A Thousand-Year Dream", aired live on the evening of September 9. Using many high-tech effects, it expressed the mood of traditional culture and tourism with a premium feel, cutting between the splendor of the Tang dynasty and the bustle of everyday life a thousand years later.
A grand event, a new chapter
Hosted by the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Government, the 8th Shanxi Tourism Development Conference and 33rd Guan Gong Culture Tourism Festival took place in Yuncheng from September 21 to 23, 2022, themed "Meet in Guan Gong's Hometown, Share in Culture and Tourism". During the conference, the opening ceremony was held at Guan Gong Culture Square in Xiezhou.
